Professional photographer. Ice cream connoisseur. Plant dad. Constant fun haver. I'm Brandon Kane, Quad City native, owner , and lead photographer of Brandon Kane Photography! I've been developing my passion for portrait photography since I was little, leading me to attend Hallmark Institute of Photography in 2013. As cheesy as it sounds, I became inspired by the idea of someone allowing me to be a part of their greatest moments by capturing them through the lens, knowing that one day those same photographs would be shared with future generations.

I was born and raised in Bettendorf, Iowa and I still call the Quad Cities home. My work consists of everything—from weddings and stylized sessions, to family and senior shoots. My main focus as a wedding and family photographer is to execute your vision and make sure my clients enjoy their day to the fullest, with amazing photos being a byproduct of all the love and fun! I can't wait to get to know you, capture all your memories, and show you the BKP experience! Cheers!

Meet  Forest

Hey, hey—Forest Kane here! When I’m not second shooting for BKP, I’m the “man behind the curtain” helping with scheduling and planning. I’m here to help the team in any and every way possible!

After graduating from Iowa State University in Event Management, I’ve always had the creative eye for events, which translates to my help with BKP. Being in the event industry has given me a lot of exposure to planning and coordinating weddings, so I’m here to ensure your day runs smoothly.

My goal is ensuring our clients' visions become their reality—so if you need someone to hold the bouquets, rally the wedding party, or make sure you have a drink in your hand, I’m your guy!

Outside of BKP you can find me hiking with our dog, throwing some beers back, or visiting the Farmers Market. So excited to meet you and help capture all of your special moments!

Meet  Hannah

Hannah Thomsen here, second shooter and marketer for BKP! Since being creative besties with Brandon starting in our high school days, I’ve joined his business and we’ve been making photographic magic ever since!⁣

My love of photography encouraged me to get a Studio Art Degree, alongside my Journalism Degree, from the University of Iowa. I’m now a full time Quad Citizen, balancing my career with my love of photography and other artistic hobbies.

If I’m not doing one of those things, you’ll probably find me perusing the aisles of Costco with my husband, gardening in the backyard, or doing house projects on our first fixer upper!⁣

I’m so passionate about turning dreams into reality, and I can’t wait to meet you while we create memories to last a life time!
